Compensation: $100,000-$150,000 

Position Overview: 

The Maintenance Manager will lead maintenance and facility operations across the New Jersey operation. This role is responsible for leading the maintenance team, managing the CMMS, improving equipment reliability, and overseeing preventive maintenance, contractors, vendors, and maintenance resources. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead, schedule, coach, and develop the maintenance team. 

  • Oversee maintenance across multiple buildings, equipment, utilities, and facility systems. 

  • Manage the CMMS, including work orders, maintenance history, planning, scheduling, and reporting. 

  • Develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and repeat failures. 

  • Manage maintenance priorities, backlog, MRO inventory, spare parts, and department spending. 

  • Coordinate contractors and vendors and monitor the quality, cost, and completion of work. 

  • Partner with Operations and other departments to support equipment reliability and minimize disruption. 

  • Support capital projects, equipment improvements, and new equipment installations. 

  • Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures. 

Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or similarly complex environment. 

  • Previous experience managing or supervising a maintenance team. 

  • Hands-on CMMS experience. 

  • Experience with preventive maintenance, maintenance planning, and troubleshooting. 

  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge. 

  • Experience managing contractors, vendors, MRO inventory, and maintenance costs. 

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. 

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience in food manufacturing or another regulated manufacturing environment. 

  • Experience with predictive maintenance, reliability programs, Root Cause Analysis, TPM, or Lean Manufacturing. 

  • Experience with industrial utilities, automation, PLCs, HVAC, refrigeration, or similar systems. 

  • Technical degree, trade certification, engineering background, or equivalent experience.
